Thanks to Andrew Coyne and his tweet Friday evening We Had Joy We Had Fun has been twirling around in my head all night long.

What I did not know was that Seasons In The Sun had been recorded several times before Terry Jacks adjusted a few things with the lyrics and spun it himself.  Selling over 10 million copies world wide it has has also enjoyed over 10 million views on YouTube.
